What We Handle

Any Charge. Any County. Any Time.

When an arrest happens, the charge on the paperwork determines what type of bond is required : but it does not determine whether we can help. Barrino Bail Bonds is licensed to post every type of bond that North Carolina law makes available.

Whether it is a misdemeanor or a violent felony, a first offense or a repeat charge, a state criminal matter or a federal immigration case : we post bonds for all of it. We do not turn clients away based on the charge type or the bail amount. We assess each case individually and tell you exactly what we can do.

If you are not sure whether the charge qualifies, or whether we can help with a specific situation, call us. There is no obligation to ask questions.

Bond Types

Every Bond Type Available Under NC Law.

Barrino Bail Bonds is licensed to post all of the following bond types at county jails, detention centers, and federal facilities throughout North Carolina.

01

Bail Bonds : Surety Bonds

A surety bond is the most common type of bail bond in North Carolina. When a judge sets bail and a defendant cannot pay the full amount, a licensed bondsman posts the bond on their behalf in exchange for a premium. Barrino Bail Bonds posts surety bonds for any charge at any NC county jail or detention center : no matter the bail amount.

What you need when you call: Full legal name, date of birth, and the name of the facility.
02

Felony Bail Bonds

Felony charges : including Class A through Class I felonies under North Carolina law : often carry significantly higher bail amounts. We have extensive experience posting felony bonds across all NC counties, including violent felonies, drug trafficking charges, property felonies, and white-collar offenses. Higher bail does not mean we cannot help.

Important: Some violent felony charges involve a bail hearing before a Superior Court judge. We can guide you through what to expect.
03

Misdemeanor Bonds

Misdemeanor charges are among the most frequent arrests in North Carolina : from Class A1 through Class 3 misdemeanors. These bonds tend to have lower bail amounts but still require a licensed bondsman to post them. We process misdemeanor bonds quickly, often within hours of initial contact.

Common misdemeanor bonds we post: Simple assault, disorderly conduct, larceny, trespassing, and driving while license revoked.
04

DUI and DWI Bonds

Driving While Impaired (DWI) is one of the most common arrests in North Carolina, and one of the most time-sensitive. Bail is typically set by a magistrate within hours of arrest. The sooner you call, the sooner we can begin the release process. We post DWI bonds at every county facility in our service area : including those with special DWI hold periods.

Note: Some DWI arrests involve a mandatory hold period before bond can be posted. We will tell you exactly what the timeline looks like for the specific facility.
05

Drug Charge Bonds

Drug possession and trafficking charges are among the most common cases we handle. We post bonds for simple possession of Schedule I through VI controlled substances, drug paraphernalia charges, sale and delivery, and trafficking : regardless of the substance involved. We approach every drug case without judgment and move as quickly as the system allows.

For trafficking charges: Bail is often set higher. Call us first and we will walk through all available options including payment plans.
06

Domestic Violence Bonds

Domestic violence arrests in North Carolina involve specific bond conditions under G.S. 15A-534.1, and bond can only be set at a first appearance before a judge : not by a magistrate. This means the bond process moves on a different timeline. We understand these requirements and handle each domestic violence case with the discretion, care, and efficiency that families need.

What to know: A first appearance before a judge is required. We can explain the process and what to expect while you wait.
07

Traffic and Citation Bonds

Traffic-related arrests : including reckless driving, driving while license revoked, driving with a revoked tag, and other traffic offenses : can result in a criminal bond requirement. We post traffic bonds quickly and efficiently. In most cases, these bonds are lower in amount and can be resolved the same day we are contacted.

Common traffic bonds: DWLR (driving while license revoked), reckless driving, no operator's license, and hit and run.
08

Failure to Appear and Warrant Bonds

When a defendant misses a court date, the judge issues an Order for Arrest (OFA) and a bond is set. We post failure to appear bonds and warrant bonds throughout NC. If your family member was arrested on an outstanding warrant, call us immediately : the process to post a warrant bond works differently from a fresh arrest and we can guide you through it step by step.

What happens next: After a warrant bond is posted, the defendant must still appear before the court. We can walk you through what to expect.
09

Probation Violation Bonds

If someone is arrested for violating the conditions of their probation, a new bond may be set : though this depends on the judge's decision. Probation violation cases are handled differently from new criminal charges. We are experienced with probation violation bonds and can help you understand whether a bond is available and how to proceed.

Important: Not every probation violation results in a bondable offense. We will tell you honestly what your options are when you call.
10

Vehicle and Property Bonds

In some cases, a judge may allow a property bond : where real property such as a home or vehicle is used to secure the bail instead of a cash premium. We can help you understand what a property bond involves, whether it is available for the specific charge, and what documentation would be needed to pursue that option.

Note: Property bonds require additional steps and verification. Call us to discuss whether this is the right option for your situation.
11

Immigration Bail Bonds

Immigration bonds are fundamentally different from state criminal bonds. They are issued through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security or an Immigration Judge : not through the local county court system. There are two primary types: Delivery Bonds (for those with a Notice to Appear) and Voluntary Departure Bonds. Immigration bonds can be significantly higher in amount and involve federal procedures.

We handle immigration bail bonds in North Carolina and explain the full process so your family understands what every step involves. If a loved one is being held by ICE or in a federal detention facility, call us immediately : immigration cases move on their own timeline and the sooner we are involved, the better.

What you need: The detainee's full legal name, A-Number (Alien Registration Number), and the name of the detention facility. We can help locate the facility if needed.

Not sure which type applies to your situation? Call 336-422-6190 : we will tell you exactly what is available.

Questions About Our Services.

Yes. Barrino Bail Bonds posts bonds for all charge types covered under North Carolina bail law : from Class 3 misdemeanors to Class A felonies, including violent felonies, drug trafficking, and federal immigration charges. There is no charge type we automatically exclude. If a judge has set bail, call us and we will tell you exactly what is available for that specific case.
Yes. You do not need to know the exact charge to call us. All we need to start is the full legal name of the person in custody, their date of birth, and the name of the jail. We can find out the charge and bail amount directly from the facility. Call us first : we will handle the information-gathering from there.
A state criminal bond is set by a North Carolina judge or magistrate and processed through the county court system. An immigration bond is a federal matter : it is set by a DHS officer or an Immigration Judge and processed through U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Immigration bonds typically involve higher amounts and a different documentation process. We handle both types. If you are not sure which applies to your situation, call us and describe what you know : we will identify the right type of bond and walk you through what to do next.
Yes. We offer flexible payment arrangements and low down payment options for qualifying families. Bail bond fees in North Carolina are regulated by the NC Department of Insurance, so the total premium amount is fixed by state regulation. What we can work with you on is how that premium is paid : including arrangements that allow you to get your loved one home quickly without having the full amount immediately available. Call us to discuss the specific situation and we will tell you honestly what is possible.
In most cases, yes : a bond can be posted as soon as bail is set by a magistrate or judge. For standard charges, this often happens within hours of arrest. Once bail is set and we have completed the paperwork, we post the bond and the jail begins processing the release. However, some charges : including domestic violence and certain DWI cases : involve mandatory hold periods before a bond can be posted. For those situations, we will explain exactly what the timeline looks like and what steps are needed.
